A quick note on TPO & upcoming UK regulation

With recent discussions in the industry around the upcoming UK TPO ban, we want to offer some clear reassurance.

At Gellifique, our products are retailed across Europe, so we began preparing early. As a result, only around 1% of our stock was affected, and TPO has not been added to any of our products since late 2024.

We continue to carry out ongoing internal quality control and regulatory reviews to ensure compliance across all markets.

What we understand about the UK timeline

There has been some commentary suggesting that products may still be used after enforcement dates. However, based on our understanding of standard cosmetic regulatory practice, using a cosmetic product in the course of a business is generally considered part of “making available on the market.”

In line with current published guidance:

• From 15 August 2026: no new cosmetic products containing TPO can be sold or supplied in Great Britain.
• From 14 February 2027: no remaining stock containing TPO can be sold, supplied, or used professionally.

As always, we believe clarity and accuracy matter — especially for professional users planning ahead. However, more information may become available in due course and we will continue keeping our customers informed.
